Mr. Esam obtained a License of Law from Al-Qadi Eyaad University, Kingdom of Morocco in 1992.

Mr. Esam is a certified arbitrator at the Yemeni Centre for Conciliation and Arbitration.

Mr. Esam was elected twice to be in charge of the Profession's Affairs in the Yemeni Bar Association, Sana'a branch in the years 2004 and 2007.

Mr. Esam joined several special legal courses in regard to Commercial Arbitration, Trade Marks and Patents.

Mr. Esam is a member of the Yemeni Bar Association, Sana'a branch, The Editing Board of the Official Magazine issued by the said Association, The Arab Bar Association, and he is further a member in good standing of the International Association of Democratic Lawyers (IADL).
